Spooky Good Friday weather

    Did anyone notice the hailshower at almost bang-on three o'clock on Good Friday, followed by sunshine?

    Matthew7:45-46 "From noon to three, the whole earth was dark. Around mid-afternoon Jesus groaned out of the depths, crying loudly, "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?" which means, "My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?"

    There was a hail shower here, Dublin 9 direction.

    6th got made a mod yesterday... I reckon that's more of a portent for a coming apocalypse than some hail stones.

    yeah i went out for a smoke at 3:01 and whooosh the trees and bushes began to roar like i never seen before? It was so wierd that i smoked the fag down to the butt while looking up at the gouling trees.

    Yeah, I noticed that as well. Then at 3pm it stopped. and as you said went sunshiney again.

    for many years, during my childhood, a constant was that around 3pm on Good Friday the sky turned dark or it rained or something a bit weird went on..

    Has happenned on a couple of occasions outside of Ireland as well - always gave me a bit of reassurance anyway
