I want to spend my summer of 09 in a gaeltacht. I will be finished my college degree then and I plan on taking a year out before my masters to catch up on things I haven't had time for over the past years, one of those is improving my spoken gaeilge..

I know it's a year away, but I have to start working on my budget now. Ideally I want to go for the 3 months, so I'm looking for a total course that won't expect my level of Gaeilge to be high, that will provide accomadation and will cater to improving my spoken Gaeilge. I know Coláiste Lurgan provides summer courses, but I believe these are only for 3 weeks and I think they are catered to secondary school students. I'm 25, so I'm ideally looking for my own peer range.

Any ideas..? Has anyone here done something for a similar amount of time to what I'm looking at? What sort of costs were involved?

    Regards,
    John.
