I have very light hair (prob from all the years of dying, straightening etc)...any way to make it thicker? Any miracle cures, old wives tales etc? Thanks.

Put hair extensions in.It only cost €100 to get a few strands in and this will instantly thicken your hair.

Its really easy to thicken hair, try using shampoos and conditioners that are specifically made for thin hair and that will add volume. Products can be very handy when you use them correctly. Also you can add the illusion of volume to your hair by blowdrying your hair while tilting your head down, also it can be created with curling your hair. However, straigtnening your hair will only make it look thin.

Get yourself into Lush. The ladies there should be able to help - lots of natural hair treatments/washes etc.. ;)

I had long thin hair and got loads chopped off (up to my jaw) and the hairdresser couldnt believe how much hair i actually had, helped it be a lot lot thicker.

However I believe there are natural supplements you can take to make your hair thicker. Go into Holland and Barrett and ask them what theyd recommend. Might be worth a try!
