Great game. I played it through 2 years ago and replayed it recently. Finished it in 5 and a half hours. Would have been faster only for the 15th Collossus. It is quite awkward to drop onto his hand to finish him off. Must reply ICO soon too.

Yea SOTC is easily the best game I've played in the last five years or so. Nothing on next gen consoles to touch it yet.

Will have to take your word for that not having bought a PS3 yet! But yeah it seems so. It will take some beating. It's a gorgeous game.

Only two faults with it in my opinion, the frame rate gets flaky at times and the 15th Collossus fight is a little flawed in my opinion when its a matter of luck being able to drop onto the hand from the shoulder with the hand tucked in.

This team all but guarantees I'll buy the ps3 at some point. When you look at ICO back in 2001. It didn't sell well but it was one of the first truly next gen games at the time. Not just a PS1 game with an upgraded graphics engine.

I thought they were working on something. I could swear I read a post about it here a few months ago.

They've confirmed they are working on something and there was a job posting with a really cryptic screenshot that didn't give away anything attached to it.

So, yea, they've got something in production. No idea what it is but you can bet it'll be worth a look when it does show up.

Got ICO recently so I must pick this up next. Really impressed by ICO, has a great feel to the game, only about half way through though.

SOTC is easily one of if not the best game of the last gen, and as said it still trumps alot of current gen games for sheer imagination, atmosphere and just all round amazingness.
When Agro 'dies' was a really hearbreaking scene, i remember just being like NOOOOOOO!!!!! when it happened :(

The framerate issues actually helped it at times too i thought! Made it seem more cinematic, it was almost like slow mo when you were ducking and rolling out of the way of the colossi. The next game fromt hem will hopefully be something as equally groundbreaking as ICO and SOTC.

I think it sold quite well all over the world for a game of its type. In comparision with ICO anyway.

I really liked that there was a pretty compelling story to this game even though there was very few cut scenes and dialogue. Theres an awful lot hinted at and unexplained and left up for the player to think about and decide. Some of the best movies you'll see are like this and it goes to show that the same techniques can be used in games as well.

Also the landscape is amazing. Quite often on the way to boss fights you'll get lost or go the long way round but you'll never be annoyed as the journey is almost as enjoyable as the boss fights. There are times when i stopped and was looking down cliffs and waterfalls for a few minutes instead of getting on with the game!

Most perfect game for the PS2 in my opinion. Nintendo and Microsoft must be totally envious of Sony having this team working for them.

I started replaying this recently too after I bought a copy of it off ebay. Its an absolute masterpiece both as a game and as a piece of art.

Cant wait for their next project to get released. Its one of the main reasons I want a PS3 so much.
