    Think there are satelittes on every day over there,

    From the WSOP website;

    All of our Mega and Single-Table Satellites will begin on May 28th, 2008
    Mega Satellite Schedule:
    $330 Mega Satellites Monday - Thursday at 3 PM.
    $550 Mega Satellites Friday - Sunday at 3 PM.
    $1060 Mega Satellites Daily at 9 PM.

    Mega Satellite Days July 2 - 5:
    $330 Mega Satellites at 6 PM.
    $550 Buy-In Mega Satellites at 10 AM and 4 PM.
    $1060 Buy-In Mega Satellites at 1 PM and 9 PM.

    Turbo Mega Satellite July 6:
    $1060 Turbo Mega Satellite at 8AM

    $50k H.O.R.S.E. Mega Satellite Days May 31, June 1, 16, 20, and 21 :
    $2250 Mega Satellites at 5 PM

    Do they provide sattelites for the smaller buyin tournys?

    All satellites are paid in wsop chips which can be used to buy in to any tournament. They run STTs constantly which I think are a far better bet than the mega satellites (structures are truly awful). A good range of buyins so you can start low and work your way up.

    Nice info didnt realise thats the way they worked it! What stack, blind level intervals are you looking at for the stts?

    Not great 10/15 minutes with 1k in chips I think. Didn't play as many as I should last year. I threw it all away on $500 megas. I think the best plan is to be there a few days before the event you want to play and play some cheap STTs to try and accumulate wsop chips. Enough to have more than one go at bigger stakes.

    Thanks for the info folks. I'm going to be there in mid May when it looks like the sats haven't started, so maybe I'll just play some tournaments instead.

    I guess the stts are all about getting the formula right anyway.
