Dear all, posted this in Tech area, but no gamblers there I'd say !!
I'm looking to purchase a phone purely to run Betfair on (so need to be able to see all screen and act quickly) for specifically the card games, not the usual nags and footie stuff !
    Does anyone here
    a) use a mobile for betfair(games) and based on that ?
    b) have a strong recommendation for which phone (and provider) ?

Money isn't an object (within reason) as I would be hoping it should pay for itself sooner rather than later. Or else leave me poor and foolish !!!
    thanks in advance !

Hey, your best bet is either a symbian S60 mobile or one with a strong java ability.

Anything with internet can get Betfair Lite I'd imagine. I've used the Betfair program and don't really like it, it tends to screw up a fair bit. Betfair Lite is slightly simpler but is grand if you're just using basic features.

    Thanks for that.
Betfair mailed me and said that the games aren't supported on phones presently, which seems strange. Didn't know that could be done, but may save the expense so !

Might still try the Poker Forum - They're likely to know if it's possible as I'd say they've worked out every imaginable way of playing cards online!
    Good luck.
