    hi,

jus a quick one for anybody who knows, i'm moving to portlaois and gonna be working in dublin so traveling bout 400-500 miles per week would it be worth getting a company car or taking a higher pay rise and buying a diesel car myself. not to sure on the benefit and kind situation and if a company car/van would be the best option?!?!

in round numbers, assuming no/low business mileage the net cost of a company car is 15% pa of the OMV
so if the OMV of the new car is 50,000 then u pay 625 a month each month every month so in 6.66 years u have paid 50,000 in bik.
The office admin on bik is now mad complicated so unless ur firm is already set up for it....

I would get the pay rise and then see about a car or use the train

Nor really a Banking/Insurance/Pensions question - moving to Work & Jobs as it's probably a more relevant home
