what happens if you fail a module in final semester?

Im in my final year. Passed all my xmas exams, but what happens if I fail one of my modules this semester? When do you have to repeat?

I think you have to take it the following december and you're capped at a pass degree for that subject if you're mode II

You'd have to repeat the year to actually get a grade other than pass in that subject.
