Just wondering if anyone knows of any Cork firms taking people on for the summer and/or few weeks? Or is this only for those with connections?

I'm in Dublin but last year I just e-mailed around a load of the smaller to medium sized firms and one of them took me on for the summer doing jobs on minimum wage. Was good exposure to the profession and they even told me to send in a CV again once I had finished the FE-1's etc! So it isn't all down to connections, even if they do help I guess.
