Condoms, not feeling it. Advice?

    Haven't needed to use condoms for several years. But am now back on the market and using them again. At the moment I'm just not feeling very much. Anyone got any good suggestions as to how to make things feel better. I bought some ribbed condoms for starters.

    you should try the tingly sensations ones by duex but keep away from the performance ones, they will numb the privates for about 2 hours, not a hope of feeling a thing

    2 hours might be stretching it a bit - although they do feel a bit weird and unpleasant. Wouldn't advise using them.

    The tingly ones might be better - you could also try going with the featherlite ultra thin ones. Other than that it might just be a matter of getting used to them again.

    Try featherlite ultra. Don't rely solely on penetrative sex for kicks either, there are plenty of other ways to have a great time;)

    Durex are muck full stop- they break too easily. Go with Mates- 12 pack in boots is your only man.

    Got two packs of Mates Xtra Pleasure (Ribbed) in Boots the other day. There were on offer so I thought why not, though hadn't tried them before. Other than that looks like I'll have to stick with it :)

    If you're playing the field then you're best bit is to stick with condoms but play around with the brand/line and all the different lubes and gels out there.
    Each to their own and all that.
    I think most brands do multi-packs that give a selection of the lines they carry, it might be worth your while investing.

    Also if you find that a drunken 4am fumble isn't the best time to realise a particular type isn't for you, maybe you could use different types when you're on your own so that you know what ones *not* to use when you have a partner.
    You might feel a little silly at first though, but it's also possible that you'll get used to them again the more you use them.
