Run as normal? Uh, yeah, they'll still use fuel and take you wherever you want to go. :p

It's a bank holiday, not a public holiday
So for many it's just another work day and this includes self-employed taxi drivers.

    Yep, you'll get one OP

Due to the lack of potential business for them though I wouldn't expect to see quite as many as usual about.

This is true, but with the lack of customers out and about, it should even things up.
Probably won't be lots of taxis at ranks, driving around etc. but if you ring a cab office, they should have many drivers ready to roll as soon as the phone rings.

Well I know the Nitelinks aren't running but not sure about buses or trains. I'm hoping to get the train from Cork to Dublin that day....looked up online and it looks okay, presume trains and buses are running as normal too except for Nitelinks?

Sunday service on busses and trains afaik. And the taxi companies I use are open for business but won't have a full complement of drivers.

Taxis don't have a roster it's up to each individual whether they work or not, I'm not working and i doubt there'll be that many , but some will be available
