    Whats the best spray for stopping crackling sound on an old mixer ie level slide / cross fader?.

    Servisol i found best, you should be able to get it in peats .. WD40 (despite what some say) strips the contacts.

    Only use enough to wet the fader .. if you need much more than a dab its probably beyond spraying.
