Two Statues

There were two statues in a park, one of a nude man and the other of a nude woman, each on a plinth. For one hundred years, the two statues had been facing each other across a pathway.

One day, an angel came down from the sky and, with a single gesture, brought the two to life.

The angel told them, 'You have stood here through a hundred blazing summers and a hundred dismal, freezing winters. As a reward for your fortitude' (he spoke like that because he was an angel),'you have been given life for thirty minutes to do what you wish to do the most.'

The male statue looked at the female statue, and the female statue looked at the male statue.'Shall we?', asked the male statue. 'OK', replied the female, and climbing down from their plinths they went running into the shrubbery.

The angel waited patiently as the bushes rustled and waved violently and much grunting and giggling could be heard.

After fifteen minutes the two returned hand in hand, out of breath and laughing. The angel said, 'Um, you have fifteen minutes left. Would you care to do it again?'

Again, the male statue looked at the female statue and asked 'Shall we?' She eagerly replied, 'Oh, yes, let's! But this time let's change positions.

'This time, I'll hold the pigeon down and you **** on its head.'
