I keep getting really droopy eyes when im drinking and getting refused to clubs, even though im not drunk.Im 20 and have started drinking alot less than I used to before I go out to try to compensate but it doesnt seem to be working.

An example is ,I will drink 4 cans before I go out and I wil be merry but not drunk at all ,and my eyes will go all droopy and sleepy, which seems to give the bouncers enough reason to call me pissed and refuse me.

then about half way through the night if I do get in to a club I will feel really sleepy and it just ruines my nights.Annoying with girls aswell because I just look pissed even when I am far from it.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks

You could be allergic to alcohol. But what ever it is, it really sounds like the old booze does not agree with you. You could just..y'know...*whisper* stop drinking?

I suffer from that abit. I just drink bottles instead of pints and top things off with some vodka and red bull.
Ive gained a bit of a reputation in the last couple of years but Im slowly getting rid of that image!

So you can follow my advice or go down the Pioneers road!

Good God i never thought i'd hear myself described like that!! I just think that if something is causing you that much hassle and embarrassment and if it is within your ability to do so, then stop doing it.

no chance of me stopping drinking,Just wonder if anyone had this problem and if they switched drink etc

or something in a herbal shop or something,I was gona take caffeine tablets but if the red bull doesnt work I doubt they will.

Totally agree, I could/would never stop drinking(its pure escapism). Your best bet is to hang off from drinking before you head out and dont get drawn into rounds with big drinkers. You'll only find yourself trying to keep up and then you've had it!

What works for me is, drinking bottles/shorts or if it must be pints then remember.... slow and steady wins the race.

Leave the pints for watchin football with the lads.. Switch to vodka/red bull or jd/coke when going out and you will be full of energy! Pints are for relaxing and takin it easy..
