Portable IM client for Windows

    Any recommendations? I'm looking for something that's free, portable, and does at least MSN Messenger (or Windows Live or whatever they call it now) and Google Talk (or is just Jabber compatible).

    I used to use GAIM but it never seemed to work as well in Windows as it did in Linux...

    trillian and gaim(pidgin) are the only two i can think of... not a big user of im so not even sure how they rate these days

    Looks like GAIM has changed a lot since the last time I used it (name changed and all!). Might try it out again so...

    Its actually pretty stable these days ... still some minor bugs with it but its a lot better than it was a year+ ago

    I couldn't get Pidgin to work (probably had the proxy settings wrong - trying to use it in college btw), so might try that when I'm there again tomorrrow.

    I couldn't get Pidgin to work (probably had the proxy settings wrong - trying to use it in college btw), so might try that when I'm there again tomorrrow.

    I have my Portable Pidgin on my college filestorage, its always there no matter what ever pc i log in at.. very handy :pac::pac:
