(Cork-based, obviously).

Decided to spice it up with a li'l more info as it seems to be going nowhere...

This Weary Hour are a band interested in making original, dark, melancholic and (hopefully) interesting music. There is a dearth of doom-influenced groups in Cork and hope that this will help us to stand out. We're confident that the new additions to the line-up will greatly help us to achieve that goal.

Collectively, our main influences include, but are by no means limited to: My Dying Bride, Cathedral, Maiden, Rush, Mastodon, Katatonia,
Electric Wizard, In Flames, Sabbath, Type O, Slayer and Pink Floyd.

We've recently begun work on new material and are confident that it'll be bigger and better in every possible way.
