    Anyone remember the furore over them in the 80s?Or the Today Tonight special shown around ,86 that showed clips from Driller killer,Zombie flesheaters and Maniac?

    The most famous of all "i spit on your grave" closely followed by "driller killer" and "the evil dead".If anybody wants to buy I spit on your grave on dvd pm me!:D

    I remember it well. When the documentary finished my parents turned to me and said 'I hope you'd never watch any of those'.

    'I've already seen six of them'.

    When the DPP published the full list, I made it my aim to see the lot.
    Achieved it by 1989.

    The region 2 version of I Spit On Your Grave is heavily cut. Avoid.
    Region 1 is the only way.

    Yep I remember there being a Today Tonight special on video nasties. It set my parents so against videos of all kinds that I was in my late teens before we could persuade to buy a VCR. The ironic thing is that I'm such a chicken that I never have and never will see a video nasty.

    The whole "video nasty" thing of the 80's was the blame of the english tabloids. The sun as far as I remember.

    Some of the films were undeniably crap but how anyone cut boycott evil dead is beyond me.

    finally got to see Driller killer a few years ago.Its not as gory as its reputation suggests.
