JS Civil Engineering Exam Dates

Hi folks, can anyone advise me a rough guide to when the 3rd Year Civil exams finish? I need these to set dates for a summer placement I'll hopefully be doing abroad. I can't find last year's exam timetable anywhere online.

I was going to say the 7th of June, but a couple of the lads reckon that's too early. It's a 15 week placement so any later would have me cutting it very close for getting home for the start of college-I'd like to have a week off before I go into 4th year!

    Cheers!

Tried that but no timetables for last year are available. I need the dates by friday. All examinations finish on the 13th, so I guess I could just go with that and come home on the 27th of September. I was hoping to go traveling at the end of the placement, but that wouldn't leave me any down time before my final year.

I won't be submitting the forms until Friday afternoon, so if anyone knows anything please let me know!

    Thanks!

No no, look at the exam papers! They have the dates on them.

Edit: Which can, of course, change dramatically.

Ahh, very good! Took a look there, hydraulics was on the 7th of june last year, the 8th in 2006 and the 9th in 2005. Everything else seems to run earlier. I think I'll just play it safe and go after all the exams finish. No point in fúcking my whole summer up over a few days!

    Cheers!

Normally they tend to stick to the same order of exams, with the same spacing so by that logic if you booked the 11th you should be grand, but for the sake of 2 days it might not be worth the risk
