Singer wanted to complete newly formed band made up of drums/percussion, 2 guitarists also playing banjo and mandolin and bass/double bass.

We're playing a mix between folk, blues, rock ,country and trad and practice once a week in dublin city centre.

If this sounds like you give me a shout and I'll forward some stuff we've been jamming.

Well I m new to this boards.ie thingy so I don't even know what to do or even know what PM means?!?!?!

Im 25, female. I have sang all my life. I sing folk, trad and american country, mainly dixie chicks, sheryl crow etc... I consider myself quite good, I play guitar and piano and love performing!! I am based in the ulster area but am actually not that far from Dublin, so if this was worth persuing I would defo do the travelling..

You've got alot of replies. But I have to say I'm very interested in your setup. Definitely the type of band I'm looking to join.

I am also a piano player, but I am looking to be predominantly a singer. I've got alot of songs, and I'm looking to also find the right people to share a creative group with.

My influences range from Bonnie Prince Billy to Tom Waits. It's wide I know but hey good music is good music.

cheers elder but we're lookinf for primarily a singer rather than to be a backup band kinda thing but listend to the tunes and they're good, good luck with the search.



We're STILL lookin, we're looking for a bluesy/trady type voice, doenst have to be an amazing singing voice aka buckley or thom yorke, we're looking for a bit of grit too.

Hey lads, I'm a big big fan of Trad and blues,

I'm into the pogues, damien dempsey, bob dilan, neil young, the dubliners, and loads more,
i use to be in an indie band but it wasn't for me, i have a dublin slang to my singing voice kinda like damien dempsey.
i write songs all the time but haven't posted any.
