    From rte.ie/business
Ryanair has announced a new route from its Shannon base to Berlin in Germany. The new route will start on May 30.

It also said it will reintroduce its service to Tenerife from Shannon for the summer from June 1, while extra frequency will be added to its Malaga route.

Ryanair also said that it will start offering domestic routes within France and Germany for the first time this year.

The flights - between Marseille and Paris and between Frankfurt and Berlin - will start in May, with tickets going on sale from tomorrow.

Ryanair shares were down almost 8% in Dublin today to €2.55 after its rival Easyjet warned that record fuel costs would erode its full-year profit if they did not fall soon.
