The 65b goes from Eden Quay to Citywest

    linky: http://www.dublinbus.ie/your_journey/viewer.asp?placeName=Citywest&SelectedRoute=65b

Not that hard to find info on really. There may well be more of them if you go to the Dublin Bus website. I think the PP IO webste has bus info as well on it.

I'd say (traffic neutral) that 30 quid will get you there from the city centre, but it's been a while since I got a taxi that distance. If you ring a taxi company and ask how much it would cost as you are thinking of booking one (and then say you will get back to them after they tell you the price) that will be the rough cost of hopping into one in the city centre as well.

The 50 will also bring you there. Both the 65b and 50 will drop you at the top of Bianconi Avenue (last stop). 10min walk to the hotel from there, check it on google maps ;)

Better way might be to get the Luas to Tallaght and taxi it from there

How much do ye reckon a taxi from the airport will cost? If it'll be about 30 from the city centre, I assume it'll be more from the airport (if my mental image of the location of the airport and the hotel in relation to the city is correct)? This will be just before 9am aswell, I'd say, so I assume traffic en route to the Citywest will be heavy?

I think I remember seeing on the PPP website that you can expect to pay around €40 from the airport to the citywest. If it is tomorrow you are talking about then traffic will be a factor, if it is Friday then I can't imagine traffic will be a problem.

Aye, it's tomorrow. Meh, I'll probably end up getting a taxi anyway. Just looked at the bus route I took the last time I was up there, that stopped at a load of hotels, but the closest that brings you is still about 20 minutes from the Citywest, which would be a waste of time, really, as it takes 80 minutes to get that far.

See ye tomorrow! Feel free to introduce yourselves, I'm on the blogging team, so it'll be good to know the boardsies faces. :)
