    Well its out.......rather big, but rather interesting too.

    Having played around with it for all of 5 minutes, i can say the following:

    - it feels alot faster, not nearly as sluggish as Toast 8 and the reorganised interface feels better;
    - the new icon is wicked cool;
    - the BD/HD-DVD(*ahem*) support works lovely and improved....and if you have an elgato Turbo.264....it'll use that to boot...though the HD plugin is extra;
    - batch video conversion can be paused at will, then later resumed;
    - CD Spin Doctor has a funky audio fingerprint feature to detect song titles based on the audio itself;
    - a Slingbox type app called Streamer that lets you stream your video, over the net, to any device.

    ....i'm sure there's more, i just don't have the time to play with it properly right now.

    Id be breaking my own forum rules if I were to tell you, lets just say... if you install 9, make sure to keep a copy of 6 somewhere too. Great benefits to that particular version of the software.
