CCD Cleaning in Dublin

    Folks,
Some lint has gotten on to my D70s's CCD if I lock the mirror up I can see it.

I probably could clean it my self but by the time I buy all the kit I'd have paid for it to be done. I also don't want to risk damaging the CCD filter.

Is there anywhere in Dublin that offers CCD cleaning?

Bermingham cameras sell the cleaning fluid and kit, do they offer cleaning, or is back to Nikon?

If I buy the kit how difficult is it?

Thanks in advance for you help

    Cheers

    CJS

If it's just the lint, get yourself a rocket blower for about 15 quid tops, open the shutter, turn camera upside down, and give it a few blows!

If there's dirt, most places sell the cleaning kits, I wouldn't be bothered sending it off to clean it :)

    berminghams do cleaning

they have some guy that comes and collects the cameras and bring them back 2 days later

its the only place i know in town that actually does wet cleans

I think you should look at doing it yourself, but if your really nervous go in there, i think they charge 60 euro
