    Can anybody direct me towards info on caretakers agreements please...
    How safe are they??

    What do you mean by safe?

    A caretakers agreement is that you live in a place rent free or for a nominal rent, on the condition that you maintain the premises and / or carry out certain refurbishment works.

    If you are considering entering into such an arrangement and do not understand it, contact a solicitor.
