You are not alone; so many non EU nationals that go to college here are faced with the same dilemma.
What degree do you have, have you read through entemp.ie? About work visas, make sure you let agents know you need a work visa before they process your application and send your CV to employers.

    Nope, didn't go to UCD.

For your first employment you can't apply for a green card except you have a Masters or post graduate degree. So you have to get a job with a company that is willing to sponsor you and would pay you more than 30k per annum.
Basically go through entemp.ie, and ring them.
