hey, just wondering if anybody does this course in Kevin Street or if anyone has heard that in order to get into 1st year you have to have done at least phase 4 in your electrical apprenticeship. This seems to be new for this year as i know people who got in with being past phase 4.When i called up the woman on the phone told me that it used to be you could start anytime, but that she wasnt sure.according to the website you need phase 4 done in order to start in 2nd year.Just wanna know if this is true!thanks

Sorry I find your post a little confusing. Have you done phase 4? Phase 6?
Are you trying to get into year 1 or to skip year 1.

You do not need to have completed Phase 4 or Phase 6 to start DT078 year 1. You just need to be employed in the electrical industry (not necessarily as an apprentice or electrician) you could be a sales rep in an electrical wholesalers for instance.

If you have phase 4 done than you can enter into year 2

    Hey man,

You need to get past phase 6 to get advanced entery and there is a waiting list for the course at the moment. I finished the course in may this year and I really enjoyed it. I am an electrican also so it was a big help to get in to an engineering degree to only have to do two years.

DT010 is electrical Services and thats the course you are looking at I reckon, sure PM me if you want more info.
