It would consist of inertia sensors on the windows and magnetic sensors on the doors. I don't want to have to dig walls etc, so a wireless system would be most convenient. Anybody know of any…

I'm thinking of having an alarm system installed in an existing house. It would consist of inertia sensors on the windows and magnetic sensors on the doors. I don't want to have to dig walls etc, so a wireless system would be most convenient.
Anybody know of any disadvantages of a wireless system as opposed to a wired system? Would it interfere with wireless broadband (house network)?
