COD4 Problems-Unlocking stuff

Hey,
I'm having a problem with COD4 on the PS3, i keep ranking up and unlocking stuff, but then can't use some of the stuff I've unlocked. It said i've unlocked claymores about 4 times before i could use them.

Also, it was coming up that i needed negative points to rank up, the rank up bar that comes up when you finish a match extends off the screen.

Anybody had this or know how to fix it?

had it happen a few times alright with red dot sights and such , the servers may be busy so there may be a delay in getting your unlocks or promotions.

probably a silly question, but you are in "custom classes" this is where u apply your new tools !!

could be worse, i try to join games and get bumped straight back to the lobby.

Maybe you should contact Infinity Ward (I looked but I couldn't find any contact details) or Activision.
I hope you get it sorted out

Had the same thing happen, eventually everything ranked up except I missed out on one of the hand guns and it never became available again.

Did the new patch which was released today fix the problem in any way or it still exists?

I never had this problem. The patch today seemed to slow the loading and stuff down a bit though, anyone experience this?

It's a known problem where you can't unlock create a class, and the only remedy atm is to play through with the default weapons until you get to prestige 1, after you enter prestige 1, create a class will unlock when it's supposed to

- Quick Mute (allows user to mute annoying players by pressing X on their gamertag in the lobby)
- Addition of "Recently Met Players" for the PlayStation Network
- Improvements to the Sniper Rifles and Acog attachments (no more delayed shots)

Problem still exists...I'm at Level 42 and I have no Claymores, Bandolier, Double Tap and some of the guns too!
