Guards were letting Belgard -> N7 West be an effective freeflow when I was there, that bit was working quite well (I'm home in 40 mins rather than my usual 1h+, but I do usually leave at half 5). Rest was getting a bit hairy already...

It will be sometime before the Newlands upgrade is complete, so I've a very simple interim solution - which is ..... wait for it!!! .....

..... drop a few concrete blocks across the R113 either side of the N7 and hey presto! - you have a free flow junction - well for the N7 anyway!!! :D:D:D

..... about R113 - ah sure, the R112 (Kylemore Road) will do nicely!:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Seriously though, the Newlands upgrade should not have been an afterthought - after all, it doesn't exactly take a rocket scientist to realise the problems in the aftermath of both the N7 and M50 upgrades!

    Regards!

What's the story with the Newlands Power grid:mad: Lights out again yesterday and all power out as far as Clondalkin village. Why can't the ESB just fix the fault:confused:
