Poker in Cork?!?!?

As i am new to the area i would really like to know all the best spots 4 games mostly cash as i am a fish who likes 2donate:D

there are only 2 clubs really in cork

1 macou on patricks quay

2 bank casino off the south mall

both have good cash games to play in

for touries the macou have the most on everynight

after them there always pub games touries they hold every week self deal stuff

with 2-3 cash games nightly.

so havin visited both the Bank n the maccu, i no i will prob not b goin bck 2da macca as the athmosphere was very cold n as 4tryin 2get in i felt i was bin interigated n talked down but on the other hand u ave a bank a very profesinaly run establishment with a very friendly bunch of people plus da cash games wer alot better in the bank with even an omaha game got goin late in2 the nite

then u must have felt very cold in the macou if u felt u were been talk down to lol u must not be much of a poker player if u left that happen to u but maybe u are just having fun with us here :D:D .sry i put u in line with the macou now . maybe the bank does suit u a smaller type club makes the unfinished type players at home maybe :D:D but the sharks will eat u up there:D:D:D watch out for the sideshow

The sharks???? Simply the players, Due to reasons we wont go into the Bank has a good collection of good players that play the game and put money on the table as in buy in for 300 in a 1-2 game not 10 fellas with 50e sitting waiting for aces like in the Macau. If you want poker the macau has it alright but if you want a game go to the Bank

nicely put but i hope it last a bit longer for u as i heard it will not be open for much longer . hope the rumur is wrong because i liked it in there the time i went in there .

yeah I heard that rumour as well. I have heard from several players that other casino owners and management are informing their players of this. I can assure you we are not closing in "six weeks".

We will also not get involved in a rumour mill/war with other casinos. As far as we are concerned the option of having two casinos in Cork should be good for both clubs. Variety is the spice of life and knowing how superstitious gamblers are its great knowing that if they are feeling unlucky in one place they can go to other for a while.

If players hear anymore rumours like this they can feel free to contact me directly and I will clear up any issues. I was hoping we could all get along but maybe that was too much to hope for.

The funny thing is the establishment on Patrick's Quay is the leader in spreading rumours about competition / clientele etc, but if you say anything about them:eek::eek:

no it wasnt that cold in the maccau it was quite warm infact, the heating was on full blast, oh da sharks y would ne one b affraid of them der jus human after all who are willing 2put lots of money on the table so that they can pounce on any weakness they c, p.s. i no im an ''unfinished type player'' so if u want 2coach me i'd b up 4it:D:D
