Hey, my brother recently downloaded 4OD (he wants to download skins or something) and it always runs on the computer (it is set as a start up program)

I rarely use the PC at home (have a laptop) but we both connect to internet through same router (wireless i mean) I was just wondering if this 4OD slows your connection? By that i mean all the time? Or does it only slow your internet if something is being downloaded??

It can queue programs and will then start downloading when they're released, so it could be using bandwidth in the background.

I'd imagine it's a P2P program -- you're effectively using torrents to watch TV. Sky's app uses Kontiki to do the same thing.

4OD is also based on Kontiki according to Wikipedia.
