    Hey All,

Glad the title brought you here. Just trying to find out if there are definative rules on taking a hit when your AEG is hit.

This has happened to me 4 times now all 4 I took the hit and walked off. Is this right?

*BTW one was a real Enemy at the Gate's moment. Scope up to my eye waiting for him to lift his head. He pops up and gets 3 bb's off, 1 hits the glass on the other end of the scope that I was looking through. "Ding"!

Its really Game/Site dependant but if you think its a hit then you should call it.

    BTW: Excellent excellent sig :D

If your weapon is hit you can choose to drop it(its useless) and go to your secondary(pistol,mp7 etc). If you have no secondary you do what any soldier without a gun in a firefight does. You run far, far away.

Edit: And btw great sig, buts its against boards.ie sig rules. Please change it.

    Here are the sig rules.

pretty much what Cuddles said, if your gun is hit, its dead not you. Go to a backup weapon, if you or none of your team mates has a spare then you have to respawn.

From what I've seen, a hit to the AEG usually means it is out of action, but you are not. So, if you have a secondary gun then you are free to use it. However, the rules are site specific.

To prevent arguments over whether or not I personally have been hit, I just take the hit when my AEG is hit.

I'd love to see standardised rules in use by all sites.

Out of curiousity, did you use the report button?

It's not a weapon, it's an airsoft device, gun, aeg, gbb etc. Not a weapon as it is not over the energy limits set out by law.

Generally speaking a hit on the gun is taken as a hit on the body. Not everyone takes them though as it's hard to tell when your rifle has been hit a lot of the time. I know people have told me my rifle has been hit when I didn't realise it in the past. Once I realised I upped and walked away.
