Best bang for buck 42" 1080p TV??

    Ok, I've decided to bit the bullit and buy a flat screen. I've been looking through the forums and in some stores but I just end up more confused then I started. I know roughly what I want. Has to be at least 40"/42", 1080p resultion and a few HDMI inputs. Not to concerned about Plasma vs LCD. I want to spend around 1200.

    What is the best option? I don't want the cheapest or the most expensive. Just the best value within my budget.

    Also, where is the best place to buy from?
