Id say it would be a good seller alright

u forgot to mention the new Ak thats coming out, what is it the 85th Ak model to be released by China?

    AK FTW

Ah who cares as long as they make 'em.

Unicorn have a load of new ak's on the way too, but still make them badly (at least from gunner) you could get a decent one from russian mania workshop.

I'll have to get a wood stock for my '74, clone or RS, don't care.

The good news is, a&k from latest reports have their act together, so hopefully this spr25 will be a good 'un. psg1 cylinder, what gearbox could it be
Good to see a correct receiver and mag well, could mean cheap mags for you too dex.

Edit: Eugh looks like a high cap, will probably be full auto too.

dont know if anyone else saw this but gunner are now beginning to offer downgrades and reshimming and metal bushings. its on the lower part of the upgrade pages plan A, B etc (in addition to their usual plans). they seem to be offering it for dboys ak's at the moment...and 328fps is an option...

so they might offer it for this aeg also...

Maybe it will have a nice easy change spring too, like the 249.
I'm getting ahead of myself though, it existing is good enough.

Sr25 links have changed to product not found, those AKs are nice though, i'd like the Cyma one

I somehow doubt they'll be a patch on my G&G one to be honest. And that's not me being elitist or anti-clone, I opened up the box on the SPR yesterday to see what I could do to upgrade it in the future. There's absolutely no work required in it, everything is the absolute pinnacle of what the box could be.

Also, it remains to be seen whether these are indeed SR-25's. I've seen plenty of aeg's claim to be SR-25's from more established companies than A&K and turn out to be an M16 modification or an SR-15 instead. And if it is indeed an SR-25, what model is it and what accessories are cross compatible. DBoys already make an "SR-25 SPR" that's actually an SR-15 SOPMOD.

It's a rather long rifle and with semi auto the only available firing option I can't see it being as popular as you might think with new players who'd rather pray and spray with a JG G36 and a handful of hi-caps or a c-mag.

you only have semi auto as an option? strange the ca one only has the semi auto and safe markings but you can move it into full auto if you want

Yeah I know, I don't like that. The RS SR-25 SPR only fires semi so I reckon the aeg should follow suit. It's not the kind of rifle you need auto for either. I believe the SR-15 has an auto option in both RS and aeg.

The AK104 looks nice, might pick one up, maybe a little stock foldage....

Its an sr25 dex, first thing I checked was the mag size and receiver, looks accurate to me at first glance.

Remain away, you may be right, but it looked very damn close if it was wrong, angular upper, longer body, fat 7.62 looking mag, looked alot like yours but sans trades.

It's an SR 15 not an SR 25. It is indeed 7.62 but the presence of this alone does not an SR 25 make. It's an SR 15 SOPMOD, as denoted by the lack of flash hider on the muzzle and the presence of full auto. If I wanted one of those I'd get the G&P version instead. Not much more expensive but a superior unit.

Thought the 15 and 25 only differed in caliber?

Oh well, maybe you can get cheap mags for yours :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,984 ✭✭✭NakedDex

The type of mags I want for my SR 25 will cost me a minimum of 50 euro each.
