    right, I have finished my job last week but will get paid for the rest of the month and next month when my contract was out, I was due to move abroad but the job has been cancelled because of cutbacks and george bushs grasp on the global ecoonmy.

    can i sign on now or do i have to wait until next month, they will find out i get paid for the next two months ?

    You can not claim until your contract is finished as they are still paying you.

    Do not claim unemployment benefit under any circumstances, unless you are UNEMPLOYED. Extremely dangerous, as you could easily be found out.

    Then the craic would truly start...
