    Just seen bits of the movie but it looks funny !! This is spartan !! Even Britney makes a cameo with k fed and baby bloody funny and Sean Maguire plays the king and he started off in Eastenders!!

    I've only seen the trailers but it looks bloody awful. Not even worth renting for me.

    Wasn't there a threat of bannings for anyone who mentioned this film in here? I think it was even written into the charter for a wee while

    From the trailers I've seen it looks like a complete botched abortion of a movie

    POSITIVE COMMENTS ABOUT 'MEET THE SPARTANS'
    Anyone making a positive comment about 'Meet the Spartans' will be deemed a senseless idiot and banned for life. This is the only rule that there will be no leniency shown for.

    It's not a complete pisstake. Its not a good movie. Its a poorly constructed load of crap designed to make tonnes of money by promoing the **** out of it for one week because they KNOW that once people actually have the misfortune of seeing it, the secret will be out about how truly ****ing awful it is and nobody will ever watch it again.
    It always happens with drivel like this, first weekend takings are great, and then it disappears completely because of the weight of its sheer awfulness.
    Everyone associated with that movie should be ****ed and burned from a great height for setting back human evolution some 20 years with this inane unfunny toss.

    This is a most serious offence. I'm looking at the day and assuming the OP was incredibly drunk celebrating National Snake Man's Day. I'm feeling an odd bout of generous leniency here despite this attempted rape of good movie taste. Maybe a temporary stay of execution?

    Ignorance of the law is no offence. That said I hate to see people banned.
    But come on. Look at the thread. Look at the movie.
    Something must be done. Perhaps just a public spanking or stern telling off. But something. If we let this **** fly, before long we will be 29 pages into a spot the jokes from that other movie Epic Movie thread.
