broke key on samsung q35... help!!

    hey all,
    broke the hash key on my trusty samsung q35 today, i use this key alot mostly for work so i definitly need to fix it -
    there is a little black hinge underneath the key and it has snapped. i wonder does anyone know if its possible to get replacements?

    Ring samsung, they'll probably send something like that out for free. They are generally a bit fiddly to put on but you should be able to do it yourself.

    i have already contacted where i bought the machine and samsung - i can definitly put it on myself its getting hold of the part thats the problem i think -
    i dont want to buy a new key board (circa €60) so ideally i would like to just get hold of one of the hinges underneath the keys.......

    yep usb keyboard until... but i like using the small keyboard - im used to its *fun (*read as cramped) setup now!!!

    Cant you add a hash symbol with an ALT + NUM call? eg ALT + 13 = ♪

    or keep the symbol in your clipboard for pasting (keep it on the notepad for example) or just find a USB keyboard as above.

    carrying around a usb keyboard doesnt really add to its portability :)

    when at home i can use the usb but on the road id rather use the hash key - id really rather fix the key than find a work around.
