The streak goes on. just after watching the golf there and it was great to see tiger being pushed and have to pull off something special. He didn't play to near his best this week and still won. Anyone think he will keep his 100 % record so far this year until the masters ?

As soon as they mentioned he hadn't made anything over 20 ft that week you just knew that putt on 18 was going to drop.

In any other sport I would take a dislike to someone so dominant, but I can't help watching and admiring what he does.

I don't think any other sports person will match his talent ever again.

I bet he would still count 2008 a bad year if he does not win the 4 major's. I bet that's what is driving him.

hi stated goal for 2008, is to win EVERY competition he plays in, the majors are just a part of it!!

Anyone think its possible? ... he is playing much better now than when he won the tigerslam

He is astonishing. Not being given the credit he deserves, but its often difficult to recognise such immense talent when it is right in front of you. He is the most outstanding sporting talent ever to walk the earth. In 50 years time your grandchildren will be prodding you to recount what it was like to be following golf when Tiger was in his prime.

Tiger is exceptional. To play to such a high standard week in week out this past few months is stunning. No one is even close to him. We all know from playing golf that consistancy is such a hard thing to have and to keep. No one on tour can play so consistantly, they all have a week or two where thay challenge and evn win, but the tiger is just there the whole time. I have to admit that I was delighted he won the other night, Bart Bryant pushed him, but he can pull it out of the bag when need and holed that putt. He won when playing maybe 75% or so. I think he is the best ever, his driving is still suspect but his recovery game means he believes he can hit the green from anywhere or hole the putt that's needed at will.

As for the grand slam, he may or may not do it, but he is definately the only one playing in this era who could ever do it.

A remarkable start to the year. All the more astonishing when you think that at every event he has beaten all comers........somebody always plays out of their skin at each event but Woods just digs in and beats them.

What makes it enjoyable is that anyone who beats him will have to fight right to the end and they will know they have beaten the best.

No denying that he is best by along way but I feel he gets better competition on the European Tour than PGA.

I feel that on the PGA tour most of the players don't believe they can beat him.

Where as on the European Tour players are up to the challenge and they want to beat him instead of the no hope attitude.

Very surprised on Sunday that only 1 person came close to beating him all the way round.

I agree with you there, but the US players are more used to playing with him whereas the Euro Tour guys see more of a novelty 'one-off' factor when he plays outside the States...

The most impressive thing about Woods, for me, is not the long drives or beautiful swing or great short game - it's his absolute strength of mind and character...

I think you can only compare it to Ali, Michael Jordan and sports stars of that ilk - they just always seemed to be able to do whatever was necessary at any given time to win...
