Interesting XV, would agree with it just as much as mine...did grapple with Kearney, O'Callaghan and Hines myself....O'Gara though for me blew it against England, not entirely his own doing, but a poor performance..Interesting call on Blair...made me think...

How could you put O'Connell in?

We're talking about this 6N, not the best team of players who play in the 6N.

    Wilkinson???
Cipriani showed in one match what a difference an OH that can play the game at pace makes. Wilikinson had a very average 6N.

    My XV
    15. Lee Byrne (Wales
    14. Vincent Clerc (France)
    13. Tom Shanklin (Wales)
    12. Gavin Henson (Wales)
    11. Shane Williams (Wales)

    15. Cedric Heymens (France) (despite not playing all the games I still think he easily showed his class)
    14. Vincent Clerc (France)
    13. Shanklin (Wales)
    12. Henson (Wales)
    11. Williams (Wales)
    10. Hook (Wales)
    9. Blair (Scotland)
    8 Parisse (Italy)
    7 M. Williams (Wales)
    6. Alasdair Strokosch (Scotland)
    5. A W Jones (Wales)
    4. D O Callaghan (Ireland)
    3. M Castrogiovanni (Italy)
    2. D Swarzeski (France)
    1. A Sheridan (England)

So that makes 6 Welsh, 3 French, 2 Scottish, 2 Italians, 1 Irish and 1 English. I think thats fair enough.

I agree O'Gara wasn't perfect but all round I feel he was the most deserving on merit. Blair is without doubt the form scrum-half of the tournament, terrific player and leader, although Phillips and Reddan were solid also.

Exactly, his game against Wales was hardly impressive (especially 2nd half) and the game against England was good but certainly nothing to earn him a position in the XV of the Tournament !

Have to say, think o-callaghan really stepped up to the mark this season. Liked him as a player for years but always seemed to have some flaw, really pulled it together this year, the one guy who seems to be in the rite spot at the rit etime
