There is at least one owner of a systema m4 in this country. I'll let him answer for himself. It is a gorgeous piece of kit.

Yeah i met him on friday in a shop in cork. He was just collecting the gun when i walked in. Couldnt beleave someone actually bought one.

Felt sorry for him because they never ordered the crane battery or else it never got sent out. Hehe.

and not as if its hard to change the power level its designed just to swap out the piston

well its not the piston as such they have a 'Quick-Release Cylinder Assembly' you just swap this over to change power takes less than a minute

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,401 ✭✭✭Arcto

    450fps? Jesus christ.
Even if it wasnt pushing out over the joule the guy buying it didnt seem very interested when i told him about CTG. Then again he was probably pissd they forgot to get him a battery.

Its just under $1500 on redwolf so i wouldnt be suprised if they charged him €1500 seeing as they were selling a redwolf custom sniper for more than DOUBLE the price awhile back.

would love to see the look on his face being turned away from ctg

Well in that case looks like there's two people in Ireland with a Systema M4. The other was, so I'm told, bought 2nd hand for an absolute song from a lad up North and conforms to the criminal justice act of 2006 (i.e. does not exceed 1j).

And yes, systema work rather nicely like that; pop the receiver, pull out the cylinder, pop in another cylinder (they're colour-coded), and you're pretty much ready to go.

No more wild speculation please, seems there are alot of unfounded facts being thrown around.

I really don't see a point in them. Obviously, if you are playing in a country where high fps is allowed, and you wanted to swap it from CQB (320fps with the M90 cylinder) to Woodland (600fps with the M150 cylinder) then I see a point.

For our FPS limits? You could build a gun for 1/2 the price that is better performing and argueable better externally depending on the parts used of course.

Its a Simpsons quote, Professor Frink throws it out as a wild statement to capture the attention of an auditorium of grumble scientists.

The generally accepted short hand of pi is 3.14 which is the number of times a circles diameter can be divided into its circumference.

This has been a special presentation from the Hivemind in honor of Euclid, who wasnt here to defend himself against accusations of poor math and hyperbole.
