    Hello,
Looking for a new mid-rang pc and was thinking about one of these.
    Are they worth it?

If you are into upgrading and would like to put a new motherboard, new cpu, overclocking etc, then yes the xps630 is well worth it...

As far as I know they are the first dell pc to use atx case/ standard size motherboard, the others use btx case/ dell only motherboards which cant be upgraded, while the xps630 is fully upgradeable...

If I was to buy a pre built gaming pc tomorrow, it would be the xps630...

They have a lovely bios for overclocking, are good value and xps support unlike other dell support, is actually quite decent...

    Pretty good deal below..

    http://configure.euro.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?b=&c=ie&cs=ieepp1&kc=DRS63002&l=en&oc=D03X603&rbc=D03X603&s=dhs

    Alternative to Dell...

    http://www3.hardwareversand.de/3/pcconfigurator.jsp?pcConfigurator.gpOnly=0

Many here have got pre built pc's off this crowd...

Better value than Dell, but they are in germany and if something goes wrong it can be a pain..

Use the following coupon to get the dell down to €1034 inc. VAT & Delivery:

    PJ0K?6FDFXHS1W

If there was no delivery charge, I don't think I could resist.

    Some deal that...

From checking out dell community forums, you can get a Q6600 to 3.4ghz and the Dual 8800gt are enough for every game ( even Crysis) you can always overclock them too...

Think they are scoring 17k on 3d Mark when the cpu and graphics are overclocked...

Not bad for a grand :p
