So, I went to the Zoo yesterday. It was really really quiet. I'm guessing the fact it was pouring down made people stay away. I only went because I managed to get in on somebodies yearly pass for free. I was pretty miserable and wet but managed to salvage something. Not a whole lot of animals hanging around outside though.

That first shot is fantastic - it embodies pissed-offedness perfectly! I love it.

It's also the first time I've seen a picture of what looks like an elephant smiling :D

first shot is excellent, pity about the wire and the slightly uneven background but the ostriches are spot on and the rain really adds to it...might be one for a bit of cloning to really top it off

    Thanks,

I do like the ostriches, they didn't look happy at all. I've only got the macbook to work with so no fine mouse skills for the cloning right now.
You should go see that baby elephant soon. I hate to sound soft, but he's pretty darn cute.

I dunno about the wires, my first instinct was also 'clone them out!' but when you think about it a bit, it adds to the whole 'yes, we're in a frickin zoo in ireland, it's raining and I'm wet and cold, what the hell are you looking at?' thing...

Never been to the zoo yet, must head up at some point. Can't resist baby elephant cuteness
