I thought Dingle doesn't exist anymore
Is it not An Daingean?

No, I'm not being pedantic, this was all over the news and the town took a plebiscite on it

Strange, I didn't get that feeling about Dingle at all. Was there back in September - stayed for about 36 hours - and had great fun. Random singing with the locals in one of the pubs across from a church one night, followed by afternoon pints in a place that was both a pub and a hardware shop :)

Some of the best pubs in the world are also hardward shops.

I've often thought if I ever become a billionaire, I'll become an evil billionaire (it's boring becoming a philantropist), and slowly buy property in places like Dingle and turn them into really obnoxious sex shops.

I'd also buy up Temple Bar, demolish it, and turn it into a giant "Carrolls Irish Gift Shop".
