I've just changed my research design, at the request of my facilitator, to a descriptive survey design from an experimental design. I've done my groundwork, but I can't find any literature that says my design needs…

I've just changed my research design, at the request of my facilitator, to a descriptive survey design from an experimental design. I've done my groundwork, but I can't find any literature that says my design needs a hypothesis" The proposed research is an area of general nursing that has no specific research, and as a result the hypothesis I've written is based on findings from other disciplines of nursing!
