Abit kv8 pro motherboard error code 9F

    Had this during the week
    I'm trying to work out what "9F" means on the LED display on this motherboard.

    More on this. The PC doesn't boot.

    I plug the power connector in and the standby light comes on on the motherboard to confirm power is going to it.

    The PSU fan does not spin. The CPU fan does not spin.

    I get error code 9C followed by 9F.

    My thinking is that possible the PSU is gone (I'm told it just didn't turn on one day).

    I've reseated all components and cables.


    Now the latest ...
    Nothing was showing on the monitor at all.

    I've now tried my PSU in it and the screen which says "tab to enter post or del to enter setup" is coming up. This is one step further than i was before.

    There is a red light on the motherboard now (assume it means error?) and the PC won't go past the "tab / del" screen I mentioned above.

    Any ideas please ???

    Motherboard manual is here, 9C or 9F are not listed tho (codes are in appendix g at the end)

    I've tried again with my PSU and now it works so it must be a faulty PSU. I'm concerned about the red LED on the motherboard though.
