I dunno - I like Thonda's idea.. Or for the purposes of the challenge and time-frame - one deadly sin? And keep to seven as a larger project?

I feel like only the quirkiness of my portrait(s) won out of the better substance of some of the others, but hey I'll take it!

As for the next challenge, the deadly sins sounds great. Loads of scope there.
Though the old deadly sins might not be so depressing as the new ones.

Here's a list of the original 'seven deadly sins', and how the church feels you should be rewarded for each:

Pride - Broken on the wheel
Envy - Put in freezing water
Gluttony - Forced to eat rats, toads, and snakes
Lust - Smothered in fire and brimstone
Anger - Dismembered alive
Greed - Put in cauldrons of boiling oil
Sloth - Thrown in snake pits

And the list of modern sins the nazi pope has added, albeit without a specific punishment:

Environmental pollution
Genetic manipulation
Accumulating excessive wealth
Inflicting poverty
Drug trafficking and consumption
Morally debatable experiments
Violation of fundamental rights of human nature
