Only found out about this today while reading the star at work. It said tickets on sale now, they seem to be gone when I checked just now. Looks like its not ment to be. I would have to swap shifts at work as well tomorrow. Poor job done on promoting this. I would have thought that lupe would merit Vicar Street at least. That stupid ****ing ticketmaster newsletter that clogs up my inbox didnt give me the heads up either

I actually found the promotion good for this concert i was surprised by the amount of promotion it got on radio even considering spin were part of the promoters other stations mentioned it a few times also spin did a very good job in promoting it themselves by playing superstar 5million times a day.

as for the concert it looked like a good attendance close to a sell out and majority of the crowd seemed to be there for knowing who lupe was and not just because of Superstar. Lupe pulled off a good show abit short but allot of good performances especially 'the coolest'.

There were some big ads in some of the Sunday papers last week and the week before. Also seemed to be a decent amount of posters around Dublin city.

Really enjoyed the gig, must admit though that I wasn't much of a fan, basically got a spare tickets and I only knew a few of his songs before the gig, but I thought it was a great night. Agree it was a bit short alright though. First time being in the Tripod for a gig but thought it was a great venue (Looking forward to going back there on the 26th for PUSA).

Gotta say though about the support act, the four lads singing looked so awkward :p, bar the guy on the far left who looked so familiar!

Really enjoyed the Lupe Fiasco gig. Played a good range of tunes from Food and Liquor and the new album. Thought if would be full of people who had just head Superstar but seemed mostly made up of long term fans which was cool. Altogether was class seen him. Kick, Push was deadly.

Pity he didn’t bring his live band with him as he did with his London gig a few days beforehand though
