I'm considering a trek to Howth to play with new camera. In the morning, probably, say around 10.

Anyone interested in coming along? Howth offers amongst other things, usually a Sunday market, lighthouses, if it's windy, sailboats, possibly fishing trawlers, seals, a lifeboat, a Martello tower, flowers, memorials, fishmongers, occasionally trawlers up on rails. On a really good day there''s the Asgard too but that's not guaranteed. You never know what might turn up though.

Afterwards, weather/battery depending, kitesurfers in either Sutton/Dollymount. Not too many of them though cos most of them are gone away for the weekend.

PS, on account of having to be available to drop everything and rush off to work, I won't be taking the boat to Ireland's Eye even if it is running.

Yes, I'll tag along. Want to get some IR shots tomorrow.

What about somewhere near Wrights Fishmongers on the fishing pier?

ps...it'll be a unique "more Nikons than Canons" event by the looks of things if Rory comes along.

Can't make this as I have to be somewhere else at 12:00 so I wouldn't have any time in Howth. Might get out early, if the weather calms down.

The weather isn't too bad, but those clouds are very uninteresting. :(

It was cold with the high winds but worth it in the end for the market :). Also tried some IR stuff with reasonable success.
