Flights to LA or San Francisco

    Hi,

    I'm looking to book flights to either LA or San Francisco for this august but the prices are pretty high at the moment (around €900 return).

    Does anyone have any idea whether I'm best off just booking the flight now in case the prices keep rising or should I wait a bit longer for deal (maybe aerlingus might do a summer offer at some stage)?

    Hard to say really but I can't see too much cheaper than €900 to LAX or SFO in August (I've flown at Xmas for about €600).

    try flyzoom.com they go gatwick to sandiego in august your lookig at €600 return just get a cheap ryanair flight to gatwick and a very cheap southwest flight to la or sfo

    I'm flying with Delta from Shannon to Oakland (30 mins from San Francisco) with 2 stops.

    I got them from Delta.com. A pretty good deal I thought for that time of the year.

    hi crapmanjoe try going onto www.kayak.co.uk it compairs prices should get you the best deal i got flight myself to sfo in august and back from newark in september for 500 euro

    yep i booked flights few days ago from delta.com for €525 from dublin to oakland(2 stops boths ways) We're flying out on the 4th august and back on the 1st sept...i've been surfing the net for the last month on literally every site...flights direct to San Fran airport with aerlingus are currently €886 but u could get them for mid 700s with stops!By flying to oakland airport we save approx €300 and literally hop on the BART(san fran's version of the DART)for 30mins to san fran for about 5dollars...AMAZING!it may be abit of an awkward route overall but its worth saving that amount of money plus it'l be abit of craic with a few friends:)

    www.onetime.com compares loads of different sites including kayak..i found it handy!!Hope that helps:)
