I think most of the posters on the thread are a) very young and b) socially awkward types, they wouldn't dare be that rude to someone in real life and probably do not have much real life interaction with people and so think those sorts of posts are pretty cool.

i would say less than 5% of people who post on 2+2 play poker professionally. NVG is full of what are known as NVGtards. Basically a bunch of people of less than average intelligence insult other people of similar intelligence. I like it though. Its like people who buy celebrity gossip magazines. If someone is going to blackmail you for money saying they will reveal all those sorry details if you dont pay up; and you're also willing to spill the beans into public yourself, why not tell them to go fk themselves do as they please.

obviously he didnt want the seedy details of his personal life known by the public but if they were going to be known its better to put them out there yourself as it looks like he does not care about them being known. I think he worded it something like brandi was holding a loaded gun to his head and by doing this he took away her ammunition

To be fair to the posters on NVG it's pretty much the designated part of the 2+2 fora where this kind of thing is supposed to be. It's like criticising our bead beat sticky for people moaning. It's a bastion of puerility, it's the place where you are supposed to be able to spread outrageous gossip, mercilessly and tastelessly rip the p1ss out of others, and generally let yourself down. I know every post I have made there has been puerile, and I think it's cool It stops it from spilling over into the rest of it, which is its raison d'etre. It's why mardi gras and festivals exist.

Also by breaking the news himself he gets the tell the story the way he wants it to be heard, and there is almost certainly more to it. This way he gets to paint a shade of grey over certain details.
